Living Room Nook Refresh

As we've been slowly settling into our house and now our Christmas decorations are put away, I am trying to put together this little nook we have off of our living room. Here's what it currently looks like.

All we've really done so far is added curtains and changed the light fixture. I want to get rid of the current recliner that is there and replace it with two chairs. Below are the two chairs I've been debating between. Which chair would you choose?

Next I want to add a rug. Studio McGee's collaboration with Target is so good. I love this woven rug on the left, but I also really like the idea of having a soft rug on my feet like this one from Boutique Rugs.

I'm not sure yet if I want to add little ottomans, puffs, or a coffee table here. What would you add? I'm leaning towards a couple of ottomans with an accent table in between the chairs and maybe a lamp somewhere in there.

I love this velvet ottoman but of course it's sold out. A couple other options I'm considering are below.

I think I'm going to start with a rug and chairs and see it in the actually space before I pick tables and ottomans. Let me know what you think in the comments!
